One of the best places to visit is Puerto Rico, a tropical island that has a vast array of activities for everyone. Whether exploring the rainforests, admiring the rich history and culture, soaking up the sun on the gorgeous beaches or indulging in the fabulous food, there is so much beauty and fun to experience. I wrote a previous post highlighting different areas of San Juan and noted how Isla Verde was our favorite beach. Our recent time in Puerto Rico was spent beachfront at Isla Verde Beach in Carolina, a municipality next to San Juan. Except for one afternoon in Old San Juan, our days were solely at the beach, and evenings, dining in the area or cooking simple meals. Puerto Rico hosts beautiful sunny, warm weather days in January and February, averaging in the 80 degrees. Some days were a bit breezy, and occasional bursts of light rain, but never enough to disappoint.
Since I absolutely love this area, and prefer to dress for warm weather, I’m featuring some outfits I wore that fit the vibe here. I love feeling good and have learned to pack only pieces I feel great in and are easy to wear. Besides what I featured here, I packed and wore two different midi length black dresses. It’s so simple packing and living the beach life for holiday. During the days you live in swim suits and cover ups. For the evening, throw on a dress, touch up your lipstick and with sun kissed skin and hair, Voila!

This dress is one of my favorites. It fits perfect, super versatile and pairs with most destinations. This dress goes on every holiday with me. Perfect for dinner and a walk along the beach, and of course, random dancing!

I‘m exhausting these dresses. Destination warm, these are in my suitcase.
As usual, we had a fantastic time in Puerto Rico. Ahhhh, to wake up and fall asleep to the sound of waves is pure bliss. And, the sun and amazing food and drink tops it all! Hasta pronto!
