Winter’s blustery and chilling arrival always hits me by surprise. I never feel ready for dressing tundra style. Luckily, I found a great pair of black corduroy pants from GAP Factory. I’ve been pairing them with everything. As I’ve written in the past, I have difficulty finding pants that fit me well. These are above average! The length is bit short for my liking (32in inseam), but since they have a slight flare, they will do!
I noticed that I’ve been pairing a lot of white tops with these black pants and my black Banana Republic pencil skirt that I have in constant rotation. My mornings have been rushed lately so I find myself choosing simple ensembles. My workplace is always cold, so dressing warm for the inside and outside is vital. White tops this time of year remind me of crisp, fresh falling snow. A perfect match if you want to be one with earthly elements! Deciding not to make many new purchases is providing opportunity to play and create with my existing wardrobe. Add a few accessories to dress up the basics. Following are some black pant/skirt with white tops outfit combinations that you probably have in your closet. As it is now falling below 20 degrees, these outfits are perfect to stay warm and stylish.
With a staple white turtleneck.
Layered with spicey, autumn shades.
With off white cozy sweater.
With textured, bright white sweater and pop of pink plaid. Let the holiday spirit begin!
With off white, wooly cardigans, wintery coat and oversized scarf. Freeze proof!
Black skirt with velvet blazer and wrap sweater.
With black and white tie neck blouse and white cardigan.
With basic white mock neck sweater.
I hope this post inspires new ideas or brings renewed interest in shopping your closet!
Joie!
